Native to the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Rivero grew up in Shoreline, WA and received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Puget Sound in 2001. Dr. Rivero then moved to Boston, MA, where she received her Doctorate of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2005, graduating Magna Cum Laude (she shared the “top of the class” spot with 1 other dental student). After dental school, Dr. Rivero moved back to the west coast to receive her Certificate of Endodontics from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2007. She then returned to Seattle, where she worked an associate for an endodontic group practice for two years before opening up her own practice in Everett, WA in 2009.
Dr. Rivero dedicates many hours, each year, to increasing her dental and endodontic knowledge through attending continuing education classes and lectures throughout the country. She feels that it is extremely important to perform dental treatment that is supported by the scientific literature (evidence-based dentistry) and to remain up-to-date with the latest dental technology (especially utilizing the dental microscope for every treatment, 3D radiography and using the GentleWave) She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, and the Snohomish County Dental Society.
When not working, Dr. Rivero enjoys spending time with her husband, two kids, and friends, baking various treats with her daughter, traveling, and enjoying all of the wonderful activities that the Pacific Northwest has to offer (especially skiing and camping).
